fucking lazy ass frog

yeah. he's playing nothing like he did for the Habs. It's that money getting to his head, just like any other goalie, that shit.
I think we should have just stuck with Habby and brought up the kid Niemi to back him up, he was stellar during preseason and is tearing up the AHL.

ya can't really blame the hawks for signing him, because bulin has been hurt almost every season he's been here, and last year he was very average when he wasn't hurt.

and of course, contract year, he's playing awesome.

the hawks are fine this year if they just bench huet and treat him like a backup. but they are handcuffed in the future, with 4 more years of huet, and i think he has a max deal, if not max, then damn close.

the rest of the team is really good though, they're fun to watch, they would have annihiliated the sharks sunday if bulin was in net

It's not even close to the max. It's about 6 mil a season. Huet will be fine in the long term. He's a good goalie.

i'm hoping he's just not comfortable in the system.

but then again, he played unbelievable for the caps in that stretch run after being traded, so you can't even really use that as an excuse

speaking of the nhl, roberto luongo is ridiculous, i love having the nhl channel, because they have extended highlights of games, sportscenter doesn't even do nhl highlights anymore unless it's detroit or pittsburgh

Kessel is fucking terrific.

I think Huet is just going through a rough patch for some reason. He'll be fine, he's been fairly consistent in his career so I don't see why that will change.

How about Cam Barker? That guy is FINALLY starting to live up to the hype!

i hope you enjoyed a nightmare of sloppy play for the sabres. took 'til the 5th or maybe 6th goal before one was miller's fault.

vanek got two though. he's good.

your sharks look like the real deal this year. is marleau still hot? he and the previous coach didn't get along, right?

Setoguchi is the one that is hot right now. That guy is fuckin' shit up. I never heard of Marleau and Wilson not getting along. But I may not have been too much in the know.

My buddy went to high school and played hockey with Ryan Miller.

this is just pissing me off.. looking at numbers
setoguchi top 3 RW's in the NHL this season..
wont even be in the allstars..

only RW with more points is Kane, and thats by 1
Seto has a better +/-, more GW's, Less PIM's..

sorry but this East Coast Bias is bullshit...
Sharks are the top team in the league and no respect from the media at large..

just goes to show Fans should not be allowed to vote for allstars.. it should be based on performance, instead of if you play in detroit or not

not a dick question: why don't fans in northern california vote? i think there will always be a midwest/east coast/canadian bias, because that's where we freeze our asses off and follow hockey all year.

i don't think setoguchi is on the ballot.

and also, it'd be less east coast bias, and more welcome to the world of being in a small market.

patrick sharp of the hawks was 13th in the league in scoring last year, 5th in the league in scoring right now, and he's not on the ballot either.

it's the nhl, they tend to fuck up from time to time.

i dont see how they can be considered a small market.. the bay area is HUGE! tons of money.. 5 other professional sports teams.. 6+ div. 1 colleges.. and if you drive an hour outside the bay area.. 10+ easy

this is not a small market at all..

no i think thats legitimate.. i think its the same reason college sports dont really matter here.. other things to do.. i mean its northern california.. people work really hard, insane amounts of hours, bizarre high tech shit left and right.. for most people going to a big game is the equivalent of going to the movies. its something to do on a saturday night...

but even with all that there is this great laid back atmosphere..

i just dont think all starting posistions should be fan picked.. leave 2 open seats for the fans to elect someone that isnt a perennial all star.. make them realize who
